100% of the proceeds of the Raffle will be donated to the Royal LePage Shelter Foundation

All proceeds will go to the Royal Lepage Shelter Foundation supporting women and children fleeing domestic abuse. 80% goes directly to local Ottawa shelter

I usually do a fundraiser every year to give back to our community members that need it most but I haven't been able to do one during the pandemic - the last fundraiser I did was when I hiked the Sahara Desert to raise $ for women and children fleeing domestic abuse.

Since then, the need for support for women and children fleeing abuse has been amplified by the pandemic. Home should be a safe place, and it isn't for many women in Ottawa right now. 

The Royal LePage Shelter Foundation's mission is to support emergency shelters serving women and children who have experienced domestic violence as well as programs geared to violence prevention and anti-violence education. The Royal LePage Foundation fundraises, solicits, receives and distributes financial contributions and in-kind gifts to qualified donees. The programs supported by the Royal LePage Shelter Foundation provide women and children with shelter, safety and opportunities to rebuild their lives after violence in the home. Delivered by women's shelters and our other funded charities, these programs include, but are not limited to, crisis counselling, employment training and placement, emergency transportation, children's programs, capital projects and healthy relationships programs for youth.
